Emergency Child Care Relief
Supporting Critical Workers During Second Lockdown
Once again Israel has entered a nation-wide lockdown and Dror Israel is there to respond.
We have been called on to provide emergency child care relief for medical centers throughout the country. We are currently operating an array of volunteer daycare centers for the children of frontline medical workers so that they can continue to look after Israel’s sick and vulnerable and lead the fight against the coronavirus.
Our volunteers are providing child care support:
1.
Soroka Medical Center, Beer Sheva
2.
Barzilai Medical Center, Ashkelon
3.
Wolfson Medical Center, Holon
4.
Rabin Medical Center (Beilinson Hospital), Petah Tikva
5.
Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh), Be’er Ya’akov
6.
Rambam Health Care Campus, Haifa
7.
Mazor Medical Center for Mental Health, Akko
8.
Baruch Padeh Medical Center (Poriya), Tiberias
9.
Meir Medical Center, Kfar Sava
10.
Schneider Children's Medical Center of Israel, Petah Tikva
11.
Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer
12.
Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov Hospital), Tel Aviv
13.
Kaplan Medical Center, Rehovot
Meanwhile, the Dror Educational Centers network received special government approval to continue operating 10 high schools for at-risk youth throughout Israel. In order to allow key education staff to keep the schools open, we have mobilized to provide volunteer child care services for the children of teachers at each school.
At these times of crisis, we need to help those who help all of us!
Please consider supporting Israel's frontline critical workers by providing:
- One day of hospital child care relief programming - $300
- One week of hospital child care relief programming - $1500
- Full operation of a daycare center in a high school for the current lockdown period - $3600
- Full operation of a daycare center in a hospital for the current lockdown period - $4800
Lives depend on it. We depend on you.
